What changes for the CPF and how to benefit from them?
The Personal Training Account (CPF), the heir to the DIF, has undergone many changes over the past year.
Following the monetarization of entitlements, the government launched the Mon Compte Formation application and platform last November. Moncompteformation.gouv revolutionises access to training funds because now 25 million French people have a sum of money directly accessible via the website and the application and can use it to be trained and certified. So, what are the changes related to the CPF and how can you fund English language training certified by a TOEIC® test?
How to find a training on moncompteformation.gouv ?
Whether on the mobile application (available on the App Store and Google Play) or on the moncompteformation website, the first step is to create an account. To do this, all you have to do is enter your Social Security number. Once this is done, the search engine allows you to search for a course near you. Now you can find a training course by simply entering keywords related to your needs.
Therefore, to find a training course certified by a TOEIC® test, simply search for "tests TOEIC". You will find many English courses in person and/or at a distance. Depending on your level and objective, the training organisation will advise you on the TOEIC test that best suits you. It can be either the TOEIC® Listening and Reading test, the TOEIC Bridge® test or the TOEIC® Speaking and Writing tests.
As the CPF aims to develop skills, it is mandatory to follow prior training. It is therefore not possible to use your CPF to take a TOEIC® test without prior training.
What to do after finding a training that meets your needs?
Once you have found your training, you will need to complete the form via moncompteformation to contact the training organisation. Once you have validated your training request, the organisation will contact you within 48 hours to give you all the information related to your training. It is also the training organisation that will inform you about how to take the TOEIC test.
All you have to do is search "tests TOEIC" on the search engine of moncompteformation.gouv and choose your training according to the duration, cost, intensity or a specific objective. There is definitely training for you.
