Every year, students in France take the TOEIC® and TOEFL® tests as part of their curriculum. There are many reasons for students to prove their level of English: to get into academic programs, earn a diploma or take part in a study abroad or exchange program.
Fadila Arar, Account Manager for the TOEIC test, and Liana Berkowitz, who manages academic relations for the TOEFL test, discuss the characteristics of each test. They share the essential information you need in order to register and prepare for the test. They also use these interviews as an opportunity to remind us of the main difference between the TOEIC test, which evaluates English skills in a professional context, and the TOEFL test, which is geared toward the academic world.
