ETS Global joins forces with the Global Business School Network

ETS Global is working together with Global Business School Network to share knowledge on soft skills assessment, an increasingly important topic within education management.

ETS Global will support the Global Business School Network (GBSN) and its annual forum, GBSN Beyond.

GBSN launched in 2003 as a programme of the International Finance Corporation® (IFC) at the World Bank. The impetus: vast amounts of money, resources, and human potential are unfulfilled due to poor management. It was not just monetary resources that emerging markets needed but also human capital to effectively manage and lead, especially in areas where too little attention was paid such as to expand and improve education management.

Today, with a growing network of over 120 leading business schools on six continents, GBSN fosters cross-border networking, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration both within their network membership and with broader business education and development communities.

The collaboration between ETS Global and GBSN is focused on improving access to education and creating equitable learning opportunities. During GBS’s Beyond forum, which will take place between November 15th and 17th, 2021, ETS Global will introduce the ETS® Personal Skills and Qualities (PSQ) assessment. ETS PSQ is a ground-breaking indicator of the interpersonal and intrapersonal skills essential to higher education and career success – skills such as perseverance, leadership, creativity, curiosity, responsibility, and self-discipline. The assessment’s methodology is based on 15 years of research and operational experience and is shown to support holistic admissions and diversity efforts at institutions.

ETS Global is excited to engage with GBSN members and continue the conversation of innovating assessment to meet the needs of the ever-dynamic management education field.
