Launched with the goal of enabling learners to prepare for the TOEIC Listening and Reading test under the best possible conditions, the second version of the application is even more content-rich, thanks to the English-language lessons and grammar explanations prepared by Hachette’s authors.
A year after the launch of the new version, the application has maintained its status as the leading TOEIC® test preparation application in France, with over 110,000 downloads.
A great success for this TOEIC application in partnership with DigiSchool, the only one with official content! It allows everyone to study very easily and to have access to a free first part!
Regarding the status of users, more than half are university students (61.1%), followed by professionals (25.2%) and high school students (13.7%). In the academic world, there are many reasons for students to take the TOEIC® test: to make an application stand out on the national Parcoursup platform, earn a diploma, get an internship, etc. Among high school students using the app, 51.7% are in their final year of high school. Students with three or more years of higher education account for 25.7% and 20% of TOEIC® app users, respectively.
These figures are consistent with the latest study published by ETS Global on TOEIC test takers in France. The study showed that students accounted for more than half of all TOEIC Listening and Reading test takers (52%) in 2020.
This insight into those who took the TOEIC Listening and Reading test in France over the past three years (2018, 2019, 2020) provides a comprehensive picture of test takers’ profiles and motivations for taking the test.
