ETS Global launches the TOEFL iBT® Athletic Excellence Grant

A €5,000 award for student-athletes pursuing sports and education abroad.

The TOEFL iBT® Athletic Excellence Grant (AEG) Program, developed by ETS Global BV, a subsidiary of ETS, aspires to support ambitious amateur athletes on their academic and athletic journey toward success by providing a €5,000 grant to high-performance and emerging undergraduate student-athletes who demonstrate both Athletic Excellence and English Language Excellence.

What is the TOEFL iBT® Athletic Excellence Grant Programme?

The TOEFL iBT® AEG represents the endless motivation, hard work, and perseverance that drive excellence, with a global mission dedicated to supporting emerging student-athletes from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa who recognize the importance of pursuit and the power of education.

This initiative aims to reward those who pursue athletic excellence, through admission to a university sports program in the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, or the European Union, as well as English language excellence, through the achievement of an exceptional TOEFL iBT test score.

Through this initiative, we wish to materialize all the values that animate our TOEFL brand: hard work, determination, surpassing oneself, and excellence. The TOEFL iBT® Athletic Excellence Grant reinforces these standards by supporting ambitious amateur athletes in their academic, athletic, and professional pursuits

About the TOEFL iBT Assessment

Accepted by more than 12,500+ universities and other institutions in over 160 countries, the TOEFL iBT® test evaluates how well your reading, listening, speaking and writing skills have prepared you to perform academic tasks.

Compared to other English-language tests, the TOEFL® test offers a number of advantages to help you stand out from other applicants. Only this English assessment prepares you for universities’ English language requirements and helps ensure you go to your university better prepared than students who have not taken the TOEFL® test.
