What TOEIC test to choose based on your learners' needs?

TOEIC tests: a complete range of assessments for beginner to advanced levels

TOEIC tests assess the four language skills used in a professional context, for beginner to advanced levels, from level A1 to level C1 on the CEFR. Depending on your learners' expectations, we recommend a suitable TOEIC test.

For beginner to advanced levels, we recommend the TOEIC® 4-Skills test, the TOEIC® Listening and Reading or MSA 1h tests, or the TOEIC® Speaking and Writing test.

For beginner levels or for people who have not practiced English for several years, we recommend the TOEIC® Bridge test.

TOEIC® Listening and Reading test

This test measures beginner to advanced proficiency level of English listening and reading skills needed in the workplace.

  • Total Test Length: 2 hours or 1 hour (only available for professional organizations)
  • Score Validity: 2 years
  • Format: pencil and paper or online (on a computer or tablet)
  • Levels assessed: beginner to advanced (A1 to C1 according to CECRL)
  • Skills assessed: reading and listening comprehension via multiple choice questions
  • Test Discounts are available for: students, members of the armed forces, and job seekers
