Institutional TOEIC® score reports go paperless

The institutional programme embraces digital score reports, following the example of the public programme

As of April 20, 2022, the score report issued at the end of TOEIC® Institutional Programme sessions for both Listening and Reading and Speaking and Writing tests are now electronic. This new secure format makes it possible to access scores more quickly and easily thanks to blockchain technology.

This new feature follows last September’s launch of the digital score report for Public Programme tests.

This new secure format makes it possible to access scores more quickly and easily thanks to blockchain technology. The digital score certificate has numerous other advantages:

  • It is accessible in 1 click via a unique URL and a QR code
  • It is unforgeable (secured by the blockchain)
  • It enables institutions to digitise and accelerate the process of distributing score reports (no more paper to deal with)
  • It guarantees secure storage of test takers’ data
  • It is more environmentally friendly than paper reports.*

A new format

Furthermore, its format and content have evolved: in addition to a more modern design, the new A4 format makes it possible to integrate descriptions of the test takers’ skills and their CEFR level.

For test takers, the digital score report guarantees security: your information is unforgeable thanks to blockchain technology. It also ensures easy use: a simple link or QR code is enough to prove your level of English.

For academic institutions and language schools, this new service guarantees speed in your selection/recruitment procedures: a simple click is all it takes to verify the identity of applicants and their scores. It also ensures simplicity: you no longer have to store and distribute paper score reports, as digital documents are sent automatically to test takers.

And without any paper score report to ship to test takers, ETS Global's carbon footprint will decrease of about 490kg of CO2/year.
